one of our members experienced difficulty on a recent trip when the clamp holding one of the trans fluid lines to the transmission cooler (located under the battery box in the front left side of the engine compartment) broke loose causing all the fluid to be dumped. obviously the transmission refused to shift, but he was able to get off the highway (coasting) and purchase a new $.39 hose clamp and some transmission fluid and everything worked out well. you should take a look at the hoses and see if they are even the least bit damp. if they are, you need to get the clamps changed before they give up and cause you a problem.
